Middle level SSAT, grades 5 to 7

A personal AI tutor for the middle level SSAT

Rookling looks at every answer, finds the reason behind each miss, and coaches it, one question at a time. Each skill has its own level, so practice goes to what your child needs.

How it personalizes practice

Two kids can both get 4 out of 6 right for very different reasons. Rookling looks at why each answer was wrong and teaches that.

It finds the reason behind each miss

Every wrong choice is tagged with the mistake that leads to it, e.g. a tool picked when the question wanted a material, or a percent taken of the wrong number. The tutor teaches that, not just the answer.

Every skill has its own level

24 kinds of analogies, 20 math skills, and every reading question type move up and down separately. A strong reader gets hard passages while math stays where it should.

Coaching, then a second try

After a wrong answer, the tutor explains the mistake without giving the answer away, and your child tries again. Fixing it themselves is what makes it stick.

Weak spots come back

A missed idea returns a few questions later with a new example, then again on another day. Missed words come back in new questions until they stick.

What you see as a parent

  • What your child can do alone: first tries count separately from answers after a hint or a second try.
  • What to work on next, by skill, with a button to focus practice on it.
  • Practice test results, and writing feedback on Plus.
  • A daily streak, so short, steady practice is easy to keep up.

Safe for kids

  • Your child's name, email, and account ID are never sent to the AI.
  • Every AI question is checked by a second, independent review before it's shown.
  • No ads, and we never sell data.
  • The free plan doesn't use the AI at all.

AI tutor, practice tests, or a private tutor?

Each has a place. Practice tests help with pacing near test day, and a private tutor helps with motivation and big gaps. An AI tutor is best for daily practice that adapts.

Questions parents ask

Is this the official SSAT?
No. Rookling is an independent tutor with original questions. It's not affiliated with the SSAT. It's here to help your child prepare.
Does the AI write the questions?
On Rookling Plus, yes. New questions are written at your child's level and checked by a second, independent review before they're shown. Many come from a large bank we wrote and reviewed ahead of time. The free plan never uses the AI.
Is it safe for kids?
We never send your child's name, email, or account ID to the AI, there are no ads, and we don't sell data. See the privacy policy for details.
What does it cover?
Everything on the middle level SSAT: synonyms and analogies, reading, math, and the writing sample, plus timed practice tests.
How much time does it take?
Most kids do 20 to 30 minutes on most days. Short, steady practice is where the adapting pays off.
